CONDITIONS OF SALE. I. The highest bidder to be the buyer, and if any dispute arise between two or more bidders, as to the last or best bidding, the lot in dispute shall be immediately put up again and re-sold. / II No person to advance less than three-pence; above ten shillings, six-pence; above one pound, one shilling; and so on in proportion. / III The lots to be taken away with all faults and errors of any description, at the expense of the Purchasers, immediately after the Sale; and the purchase-money to be absolutely paid before any article is removed from the sale. / Lastly. — Upon failure of complying with the above conditions, the Auctioneer shall be at liberty to re-sell the said lots, either by public or private sale, and the deficiency, (if any there should be by such second, or re-sale,) together with all charges attending the same, shall be made good by the defaulters at this present sale. / G.
