CARRACCI S.ROSA LE PAUTRE ALBERT DURER SILVESTRE MASSON RUBENS CALLOT NANTEUIL &c. Which will be fold by AUCTION, By Mr СОСK At his House in the Great Piazza, Covent Garden, On Thursday the 3d Day of February 1742_3 and the five following Evenings (Sunday excepted.) The said Library may be viewed at the Place of Sale, on Tuesday the 1st of February, and every Day after till the Time of Sale, which will begin each Evening at Five o clock precisely. Catalogues of which will be delivered gratis on Saturday the 29th instant, at Mrs Bridgeman's late dwelling house in Cavendish Square, and at Mr. Cock's aforesaid.

Preface and paratexts

Conditions of SALE. 1st, THAT the highest Bidder is the Buyer; and if any Dispute arise between two or more Bidders, the Book or Books to be put up again and resold.2d,That all the Books (not otherwise expressed)are supposed perfect;but if any prove imperfect upon collating at the Place of Sale the Buyers then to be at Liberty to take or leave them. 3d That no Books (notwithstanding they may prove imperfect) shall be returned and accepted as such, after once taken away. 4th That no Person advance less than 3 d. under a Crown; above a Crown 6 d. above a Pound 1 s. and so on in Proportion. 5th, That each Buyer pay Five Shillings in the Pound, in part of Payment for each Lot, if demanded, and also give in his Name and Place of Abode. 6th That the Books are to be taken away at the Buyer's Expense within three Days at farthest, after the Sale is ended and the Purchase money paid on or before the Delivery; in Failure of which the Five Shillings in the Pound deposited in Part of Payment shall be forfeited, the Books resold for the Benefit of the Executors and the Deficiency (if any) shall de made good by the Buyers.
