A CATALOGUE OF THE Genuine Houshold Furniture, Plate, Linen, China, Books, Antiquarian Prints, &c. OF Mr. JOSHUA BLEW, F. S. A. Deceased, Late Librarian of the Inner Temple. Which (by Order of the Executor) will be Sold by AUCTION, By W. BRISTOW, At his late Chambers in the King's Bench Walks, near White Fryars Gateway, in the Temple, On Thursday, March 7, beginning precisely at Twelve o'Clock. The Whole may be viewed on Tuesday and Wednesday the 5th and 6th Instant, to the Time of Sale, and Catalogues then had, of W. Bristow, in St. Paul's Church-Yard, and at the Place of Sale.

Preface and paratexts

Conditions of SALE. I. THE highest Bidder is to be the Purchaser. / II. If any Dispute shall arise between Two or more Bidders, the Lot in Dispute is to be put up again, or decided by the Majority of the Company. / III. No Advance less than Sixpence; above a Pound; One Shilling; and above Five Pounds, Two Shillings and Sixpence. / IV. Each Person to pay Two Shillings and Sixpence in the Pound as Earnest in Part of Payment, for each Lot they buy, and to give in their Names and Places of Abode, if required. / V. The Goods to be taken away, with all Faults, at the Buyer's Expence, within Two Days after the Sale, and the Remainder of the Purchase Money to be paid on the Delivery. / VI. Upon Failure of clearing the Lots at the Time limited, the Deposit Money to be forfeited, the Lots resold, and the Loss and Charges to be made good by the first Purchasers. / Those Gentlemen, who cannot attend the Sale, may depend upon having their Commissions faithfully and punctually executed, by their Devoted and obedient Servant, W.
