[vignette] / <%%> <> <%%> [vignette] TO THE PUBLIC. THE Proprietor (with the strictest veracity) assures the Public, that having come to a resolution of disposing of HIS WHOLE COLLECTION (except those of his own doing) though lately applied to by several persons, who wished to purchase same of the articles, at a very liberal price; by the advice of his friends, he declined accepting the offer, nor has he reserved so much as a single article of any kind (except a few common reading books, for the use of his family.) / He likewise flatters himself, the few descriptive observations made on some of the articles, will not be thought exaggerated, they being no more than what has being the general opinion of those, who are allowed to be the first, and most candid judges of the polite arts in this kingdom; nor have those of the scarce ancient mailers, been deemed less excellent, though the anxiety and trouble attending a removal, and the disposal of his house, put it out of his power to describe them but by their names. / He likewife (positively declares) there is not a single copy, except those mentioned as such in the catalogue. / N. B. The drawings by ancient matters, are chiefly in the fifth and sixth days sale.|A CATALOGUE, &c.[after N@]|End of the First Day's Sale.[after N@75]|End of Second Day's Sale.[after N@99]|End of Third Day's Sale.[after N@112]|End of Fourth Day's Sale[after N@117]|End of the fifth Day’s Sale[after N@119]|End of the Sixth Day's Sale.[after N@111]|End of Seventh Day's Sale.[after N@114]|End of the Eight Day's Sale.[after N@105]|End of the Ninth Day's Sale.[after N@115]|FINIS.[after N@68]
